German club RB Leipzig announced on Tuesday the permanent signing of 18-year-old defender El Chadaille Bitshiabu on a permanent deal from Paris Saint-Germain. Leipzig's statement said: "Shadeli Pichibao, who is 18 years old, has signed a contract with the club for a period of 5 years, to continue until 2028." However, the arrivals of Lucas Hernandez and Milan Skriniar pushed the teenager down the pecking order, and he has now penned a five-year contract with Leipzig, where he will wear the number five shirt.
Leipzig won the German Cup last season at the expense of Eintracht Frankfurt 2-0 in the final match.
