A FIFA spokesperson said, "Al-Nasr Club is currently prohibited from registering new players due to outstanding debts. This ban will be lifted as soon as the debt settlement is confirmed by the relevant creditors." Media reports stated that these debts relate to Nigerian striker Ahmed Musa, who moved to Al-Nassr from Leicester City in 2018.
