Is Barcelona Facing Challenges to conclude new Deals? - Reports

Spanish press reports revealed the most important tasks awaiting FC Barcelona to conclude more deals during the current summer transfer period. The task of offloading fringe players is still far from its completion at FC Barcelona, as the Catalan club is facing problems finding suitors for a number of players.  The Catalan newspaper "Sport" reported on Barcelona's tasks that the Catalan club does not want the negotiations to get derailed at any cost, before completing more contracts, adding that the club needs to sell in order to sign the players that coach Xavi Hernandez wants. The newspaper added that Juan Laporta, president of FC Barcelona, Al-Yamani, and all members of the administrative staff have weeks of hard work during the coming period. The newspaper indicated that although there is optimism in the club, until now no sale has been closed for a high amount, explaining that it is the goal of Xavi and the sports staff to make 3 more contracts, but the club's situation requires them to make sales before that. She explained that after the contract with Vitor Roque was settled, all efforts will now be focused on selling some players, adding that Ansu Fati is no longer on the list of departures after the club’s decision to give him another chance. And she continued that the Catalan club's intention was to sell Fati after the frustrating season he presented, but the player's insistence not to leave made the club decide to give him another chance, and therefore Barcelona will have to search for other players to sell them and generate revenue in order to complete the contracts that the coach wants.
