The Brazilian newspaper Globo Sport confirmed that the Brazilian Federation had agreed with Fluminense, that its coach, Fernando Deniz, would be the interim coach of the national team, and the contract would be for a period of six months or a year, depending on the date on which Ancelotti would be able to leave Real Madrid. The position of coach of the Brazilian national team has been vacant since the departure of coach Tite, after the last World Cup in 2022.
