Inter Milan makes a plan for Lukaku’s transfer

Chelsea has confirmed that they will not accept another loan deal for Romelu Lukaku, but Inter Milan has a fresh plan for the Belgian forward. The 30-year-old forward returned to the Nerazzurri last summer on a €20m loan deal, returning just a year after his €113m move to the London club. While his comeback started slowly, the Belgian found his footing in the closing stages of the season, netting seven goals in his last seven Serie A matches. A loan deal with no option to buy, so now he's back at Chelsea. Inter was keen to strike a new deal, but talks have started to falter in recent weeks. In turn, the Italian newspaper, "La Gazzetta dello Sport", revealed on Monday how Chelsea told Inter that he would not accept a new loan deal for Lukaku, forcing the club to return to developing a new plan.
The Nerazzurri are planning to offer a loan deal with an obligatory option to buy, set at €30m, which is just short of the €40m the Blues had hoped for, but a compromise could be found.
Inter also wants Lukaku to cut his salary a bit and isn't willing to pay the €8.5m net salary he was earning last season.rom
