Al-Ahli Jeddah set to sign ex-Liverpool star Firmino

English press reports revealed that the Saudi club Al-Ahly Jeddah is close to signing the Brazilian and ex-Liverpool striker Roberto Firmino this summer. The British newspaper “Daily Mail” stated that Al-Ahly entered into negotiations with Brazilian Roberto Firmino in order to obtain his signature during the current transfer market. The newspaper indicated that Al-Ahly wants to obtain final approval from Firmino during the coming period in order to start the procedures for transferring him to Jeddah, and he may conduct medical examinations at the end of this week if he agrees to the offer. Firmino ended his contract with Liverpool at the end of the 2022-2023 season, after 8 years inside the “Anfield” stadium, during which he won 7 different titles during his career with the Reds, most notably the English Premier League and the European Champions League.
