Juventus announced on Thursday the official departure of Argentine Angel Di Maria from the team, after one season he spent inside the Old Lady club. Juventus said goodbye to the Argentine who is about to announce his return to Benfica.'Following one season in black and white, Angel Di Maria and Juventus have parted ways,' the club statement read.  During his only season with Juventus, the Argentine star played 40 matches in various competitions, scored 8 goals, and provided 7 assists. Press reports had indicated that Di Maria was close to returning to the Portuguese club, Benfica, during the current summer Mercato.
