Portuguese Football legend and Saudi Al-Nasr striker, Cristiano Ronaldo gets ultimate praise from Guinness World Records for earning 200 international caps for Portugal during the Iceland match in the fourth round of the Euro 2024 qualifiers. In recognition of this remarkable feat, Ronaldo received an official certificate from Guinness World Records before the game kick-off, solidifying his status as a record holder. He was also presented with a Portugal jersey featuring the number “200” on the back, symbolizing his record-breaking caps with the Brazilian national team Europe. The 38-year-old became the first footballer to reach 200 international matches in the history of the game, an unprecedented achievement. Ronaldo's first appearance with Portugal was in a 1-0 victory over Kazakhstan in an international friendly match in August 2003, with Brazilian coach Luiz Felipe Scolari. Cristiano Ronaldo is the dean of world players, surpassing Badr Al-Mutawa, the Kuwaiti national team player, who has 196 matches. He is also the historical top scorer for the national teams, as he scored 122 goals and provided 43 assists from 199 matches.
