Bayern Munich targets Napoli defender Kim Min-Jae

German press reports revealed that Bayern Munich has 'joined the race to sign South Korean Kim Min-Jae, Napoli's Italian defender during the current summer transfer period. The German newspaper "Bild" reported that Bayern Munich puts Napoli defender Kim Min-jae' as a potential replacement for Lucas Hernandez, who has been 'courted by Paris-Saint Germain' along with Pavard. His name was discussed in the recent meetings of the Bavarian administration. The newspaper added that Bayern Munich Board and coach Thomas Tuchel admire the Korean defender, explaining that his penalty clause amounts to 50 million euros, which is considered a reasonable price compared to other names such as Gvardiol. The newspaper pointed out that Bayern Munich seems to be the favorite now to sign K Kim Min-Jae. Manchester United and Newcastle are also interested, but the Bundesliga champion now has a tangible opportunity to settle the deal, as it is only a matter of persuading the player.
