Brahim Diaz presented to the media sealing his return to Real Madrid

After Fran García was unveiled on Monday, on Tuesday Real Madrid announced the turn of Brahim Díaz after he spent the last 3 seasons on loan to the Italian club Milan. In a presence attended by President Florentino Perez, Brahim Diaz signed a new contract with Real Madrid for two years to continue until 2027. Diaz, 23, will wear shirt number 21 with the Royal team. The 23-year-old then had a press conference and, discussing his three years in AC Milan and the opportunity to return to Real Madrid, he said: “I’m really grateful to AC Milan. I was happy there and felt loved there, but at the end of the season, this opportunity to return came up. Real Madrid was always my preferred option for where I wanted to play if I left. Those three years helped me a lot. I’ve grown a lot, on the pitch and off it. I think you’ll see a Brahim who has improved a lot and who is very motivated. This is why I’m back. I want to have success here at the greatest club in the world. Today is one of the happiest days of my life.” He said: “Of course, the competition is there, with the best players in the world forming part of this squad. I’ll work hard and be humble and try to learn from the players here. There is pressure, but that’s good. It’s Real Madrid. Pressure can help you give the best of yourself. I’ll try to represent Real Madrid the best way I can.”
