Ancelotti is suing Everton in high London’s court- Why?

Italian Real Madrid Boss Carlo Ancelotti has filed a lawsuit against Everton at London High Court two years after leaving the club to become Real Madrid's head coach. The dispute was sued against the backdrop of a dispute over contracts and general commercial arrangements, and the case is expected to be heard before a commercial court in Britain. The Italian’s lawyers have filed the suit in relation to ‘general commercial contracts and arrangements’ but refrain from the media, as The Everton club Board also made the same refrain, according to the Guardian newspaper. The claim is listed to be heard in the commercial court. Documents do not specify the circumstances surrounding them. However, reports have learned of a dispute between Ancelotti and Everton over a tax issue linked to a £ 2 million bonus payment made to the Italian coach during his reign. The disclosure of the case coincided with the Everton club’s management taking a decision to expel 3 of its board members, namely Dennis Barrett Baxendale, CEO, Grant Engels, chief financial and strategic officer, and Graeme Sharp, non-executive director, while the club confirmed a decision to stay or leave Bill Kenwright, Chairman in 48 hours.
