Al-Sadd coach Manuel raises doubts about his future by visiting Man City training!

Al Sadd coach Spain's Juan Manuel Lillo raised doubts about his presence in his Manchester City training, prior to their match against Inter Milan, Italy, in the AFC Champions League final on Saturday at the Ataturk Olympic Stadium in Turkey. Lillo led the training of Al-Sadd club in the past season. Lilo -56 years old- trained in many Spanish clubs, most notably Real Sociedad (2008-2009) and Almeria (2009-2010). Juan Manuel also worked as an assistant coach in the Chilean national team (2015-2016) and Seville (2016-2017), before moving in 2020 to work as an assistant to Pep Guardiola in Manchester City. The Spanish coach started his coaching career early at the age of 16 with the Spanish amateur Amaroz Key in 1981. After 4 years he took over the leadership of his hometown team, Tolosa, and gained the third division competitions in Spain. In 1989 Lilo moved to coach the Spanish club Mirandes, and he won the third division title with him at the age of 23. After his trip with Mirandes, Lilo went through many training experiences in the Spanish League over the course of years, most notably with Real Zaragoza, Real Sociedad, Murcia, and Almeria clubs. In 2015 he started a new experience as an assistant coach for Argentine Jorge Sampaoli in the Chilean national team and then moved with him to train in Sevilla, Spain for the 2016-2017 season. After one year with Seville, Juan Lillo took over as manager of Colombia's Atletico Nacional, then Vissel Kobe of Japan and Qingdao Huanhai of China, and then returned to work as an assistant coach in the summer of 2020, this time he was accompanied by his compatriot Pep Guardiola, the renowned manager of Manchester City FC.
