Asensio close to an agreement with Premier League club- Report

The Spanish newspaper “Marca” revealed that Real Madrid star Marco Asensio is close to playing in the next season in the English Premier League, after his departure from the Royal Club. Aston Villa manager Unai Emery is doing everything to convince Marco Asensio to join his team. According to Marca, Aseniso is now close to reaching an agreement to join Aston Villa on a free transfer. Real Madrid has a renewal offer for Asensio on the table, but the Spaniard has so far refused to sign it as he wants guarantees about his playing time. Asensio has been impressive for Real Madrid this season despite his limited minutes for the first team. His tally of 12 goals in 50 games is his joint-best in Madrid colors. He also registered 8 assists this term. Carlo Ancelotti doesn't want the 27-year-old to leave as he sees him as a game-changer off the bench but it looks like Asensio's mind is made up to find a new club. Paris Saint-German and AC Milan are also keen on signing Asensio but neither of the pair have made an offer for the winger. The 27-year-old Spanish winger is interested in many major European clubs, most notably French Paris Saint-Germain, Italian Juventus, and English Arsenal.
