Officially: Kuwait to host the 26th Gulf Cup in December 2024

The 26th Arabian Gulf Cup will be the 26th edition of the biennial football competition for the eight members of the Arab Gulf Cup Football Federation. The tournament will be held in Kuwait in December 2024. A month period was given to the Gulf Football Federations to apply to be an alternative to Kuwait in the event that it is not possible to host the event in Kuwait. Kuwait is preparing to host the Gulf gathering for the fifth time, after the years 1974, 1990, 2003, and 2017. The Kuwaiti national team holds the record for winning the Arabian Gulf Cup, with 10 titles. Hosts Iraq reached the Arabian Gulf Cup final after winning over Qatar in the semi-final of the 25th edition of the tournament at the expense of their Omani counterpart in the final match.
