Qatar (LOC) allows 30% attendance of fans during Asian Qualifiers

The Local Organizing Committee (LOC) for the Joint Asian Qualifiers announced that all matches will be held with a crowd attendance of 30% of the stadium capacity, as Qatar Football Association is preparing to host Group E matches in the joint FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 and AFC Asian Cup China, with the participation of five teams: Qatar, Oman, India, Afghanistan and Bangladesh.
All games in the AFC Champions League will be held within the pooling system in Doha from 3-15 June 2021, co-host by Jassim bin Hamad Stadium in Al Sadd Sports Club.
Tickets will be available to fans three days prior the start of the matches, starting from today, Tuesday, the first of June, at a flat ticket price of 20 Qatari riyals. Purchase tickets will be available will be put up for sale via Qatar Football Association website: tickets.qfa.qa.
Allowing fans attendance permit of 30% comes in line with the instructions of the Ministry of Public Health in accordance with the plan to gradually lift up the restrictions that have been imposed recently in the country in several stages to limit the spread of the Coronavirus (Covid-19), with regard to local and international sporting events in which public attendance is permitted. Certain percentages in open spaces are provided to whom have received the doses of the vaccination.
The health protocol will be implemented with the aim of preserving the health and safety of all qualifying teams, organizers and the media alike, especially after the great success that the health protocol has witnessed in previous experiences such as the AFC Champions League, this year's Amir Cup final, and the FIFA Club World Cup 2020™️ in its last two versions, in addition to the recently held Total the Total CAF Super Cup 2020 .
The health protocol also includes the provision of all full quality medical services to the participants, whether in accommodation, training or stadiums. Also field services and ambulance services will be provided around the clock. Precautionary measures include all activities and categories, whether outside or inside the stadium. In coordination with the Local Organizing Committee (LOC) ,the Ministry of Public Health has imposed a package of conditions and measures that must be adhered to by everyone to maintain their health and safety as follows:
* 30% of fans are permitted to attend, including those aged 12 years and over, who have received two doses of the Covid-19 vaccine, as well as those recovering from infection with Covid-19 during the nine months preceding the date of the match, upon activating the first phase of the plan for the gradual lifting of restrictions and the decision that indicates till then.
