Man City star Riyad Mahrez surpasses Drogba 

Algerian star Riyad Mahrez has become the most crowned African player in the English Premier League with Manchester City, who won the Premier League title this season. By providing an assist for his teammate's goal against Liverpool, Mahrez overtook Didier Drogba to become the African player with the most Premier League assists. It was his fifth assist in the league this season. Manchester City won the Premier League title for the third time in a row, after its closest rival, Arsenal, fell to its host Nottingham Forest, 1-0, in the match that took place between them on Saturday evening, at the “City Ground”, in the 37th and penultimate round of the English Premier League competition. Riyad Mahrez reached his fifth title, surpassing Didier Drogba (4) and becoming the most African player to win the English Premier League title. Mahrez won the Premier League title 4 times with Manchester City, while he won the title with Leicester City in 2015-16. Riyad Mahrez is one of the most important winning cards for coach Pep Guardiola this season, and he contributed greatly to winning the Premier League title with his club.
