Mbappe competes with Messi for France League Player of the Year award

Argentine star and PSG midfielder, Lionel Messi, is now at the top of the list of candidates for the French League Player of the Year award this season. The French League revealed the list of candidates for the best player award this season, headed by Messi, and he is strongly competing with star Kylian Mbappe, his colleague in the ranks of Paris Saint-Germain. In addition to Messi and Mbappe, the list of candidates included Siko Fofana, Luis Obenda from Lens, and Jonathan David, the star of Lille. French star Kylian Mbappe leads the top scorer in the current edition of the French League, having scored 26 goals so far, one goal ahead of runner-up Alexandre Lacazette. While Messi contributed to scoring 30 goals during his participation in 29 matches in the French League so far, as the Argentine star scored 15 goals and made the same with PSG.
