Milan's Algerian midfielder Bennacer suffered an injury 

AC Milan received a painful blow after Algerian star; Ismail Bennacer suffered an injury, which caused them to fully end his season early with the team. AC Milan has been dealt an injury blow as it has been confirmed that midfielder Bennacer will not play a part in the next games. The Algerian central midfielder was injured already in the opening minutes of the city derby. The Algerian stepped out of last night's city derby in the 18th minute and it is a big question whether he will be able to play in the second leg in a week. He left the San Siro stadium on crutches, so Milan is eagerly awaiting today's examination report. "Bennacer felt a lot of pain in his knee. He doesn't know exactly when the injury occurred, but he said that he was in a lot of pain," Pioli said. The Sky News network stated that the medical examinations that Ismail Bennacer proved that he needed surgery, due to his suffering from an injury at the level of the cartilage of the right knee. Sky added that the Algerian player will be out of action for several months, to end his current season with the Rossoneri, and he can undergo surgery early on Saturday, allowing him to start his recovery quickly.
