Liverpool confirms retained list: 4 summer deals and 9 departures

English press reports published Thursday revealed Liverpool's Premier League retained list has been submitted, confirming the departures of several senior and Academy players this summer. Reports indicated German Liverpool Boss Jurgen Klopp’s intention to make some prompt changes in the Reds list in the next season by signing new stars in the upcoming summer transfer period, in addition to getting rid of many players. The "Liverpool echo" network, which is close to the English club stated that after Borussia Dortmund Jude Bellingham has been postponed in the Mercato next summer, Klopp seeks to take advantage of the budget of available funds to support the ranks of the Reds with many four players, including Niccolo Barella, Alexis McAllister and Mason Mount.
The network added that several players are leaving Liverpool almost reaching nine players, perhaps the most prominent of whom are Roberto Firmino, Matip, Naby Keita, James Milner, and Chamberlain.
