De Bruyne makes Champions League history record 

Belgian star and Manchester City striker, Kevin de Bruyne broke a unique record in the Champions League thanks to his opening goal against Real Madrid on Tuesday, the first leg of the competition’s semi-finals for the current season 2022-2023. De Bruyne's goal against Real Madrid is his 14th goal in the Champions League. And the global “ESPN” network stated that De Bruyne’s 14 goals in the Champions League, 11 of them came in the knockout stages, become the most players in the history of Manchester City to score this number of goals in the elimination stages of the Champions League. Kevin also succeeded in scoring in the Champions League semi-finals for the third year in a row, after doing so in 2021 against Paris Saint-Germain, last year against Real Madrid, and this season.
