Haaland breaks record for most goals in a Premier League! 

The Norwegian star Erling Haaland broke the Premier League's single-season scoring record after the Manchester City striker netted his 35th goal of an incredible campaign in a 3-0 win over West Ham in a postponed match from the 28th stage.on Wednesday.Haaland has scored his 35th Premier League goal of the season to surpass the record tally held by Alan Shearer & Andy Cole. The 22-year-old scored in a win over Fulham on Sunday to equal the previous-best mark of 34 held jointly by Andrew Cole and Alan Shearer, and his goal in the 70th minute against West Ham saw Haaland eclipse the mark with five games left to play in the current campaign. Haaland only needed 31 matches to enter history from its widest gates. The 22-year-old striker raised the number of his goals in various competitions to 51 this season, becoming the first player to achieve this feat since 1931. When go back to the 1966-1967 season in order to find the most prolific scorer in one season in the elite, which is Welshman Ron Davis with Southampton (37 goals). Haaland is still far from the historic record for the number of goals in the EPL of all time achieved by the legendary Everton striker Dixie Dean with 60 goals in the 1927-1928 season (42 stages).
