Messi’s trip to Saudi Arabia shocks PSG players!

French press reports revealed that there was a state of anger among Paris Saint-Germain players, due to the travel of Argentine star Lionel Messi to Saudi Arabia. According to France Monte Carlo Radio, some players in the PSG camp have been “shocked” as a result of a trip Lionel Messi made to Saudi Arabia after the match against Lorient on Sunday, which ended in defeat. Messi traveled with his family to Saudi Arabia in his capacity as has been made the Kingdom's Tourism Ambassador, which was announced by the Minister of Tourism, Ahmed Al-Khatib, on his official account on "Twitter". According to Radio Monte Carlo, Messi's travel came as a surprise to a large number of players in PSG who attended the training session on Monday morning. Many of them were not aware of that trip and could not hide their surprise. The PSG players were to have two days’ rest if they won the Ligue 1 match, hence Messi’s planned trip to Saudi Arabia, to take advantage of the time off. However, the defeat changed the club’s plans, and head coach Christophe Galtier decided that the team would train the day after the defeat. And they did, but without Messi.
