Solskjaer shocked by Maguire injury before the European League Trophy
Speaking to the global television network (Euro-Sport), the Norwegian coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, the Manchester United coach, sent a strong shock to his fans over Harry Maguire's participation in the European League final.
Manchester United and Villarreal are set to face each other for the Europe League trophy next Wednesday.
Harry Maguire appeared to suffer an ankle injury during a challenge with Anwar El Ghazi, with 15 minutes remaining of the clash at Villa Park two weeks ago.
Solskjaer was asked about Maguire, where the Norwegian responded in statements published by "Euro Sport" network saying: “Of course he wants to play. It’s going to be up to the doctor to say how he is, but I don’t expect him to be ready.
He further added: “It doesn’t look great, but ever the optimist, I’m still hopeful.”
Solskjaer concluded: "Maguire is still walking very cautiously; he will definitely travel with us. I I'm going to give him until Wednesday noon, Steadily he's improving, but ligaments take time to heal.”
