Lazio star Ciro narrowly escapes death in terrifying crash 

Lazio striker and captain Ciro Immobile, 33 years old, was driving with his two daughters in Rome when the collision happened on Sunday morning. The trio are said not to have suffered any serious injuries. Distressing images of the 33-year-old striker's wrecked Land Rover SUV quickly emerged on social media before he told AGTW: "The tram ran a red light. Luckily I'm fine, my arm just hurts a little." Italian media say that Immobile and his daughters were taken to hospital but are understood to not be seriously injured. Corriere dello Sport report that the Serie A marksman had a bloody hand and may have fractured his shoulder. Lazio is leading the table in the Italian league with 61 points, behind Napoli now lead Serie A with 75 points.
