The Saudi Board of Directors of Al-Nasr Club, headed by Musali Al Muammar, decided to dispense with Frenchman Rudi Garcia, coach of the first football First team at Al-Nasser.  The dismissal comes as the club suffered from bad sporting results and thus plans to terminate their contract with coach during the near future.
Okaz, the Arabic Saudi Arabian daily newspaper located in Jeddah indicated that Al-Nasr Board made the decision after the recent tie against Al-Fayhaa, and the decline in of Al-Nasr results in general during the recent period, which resulted in losing the top spot in the Saudi League standings in favor of Al-Ittihad Jeddah. The Saudi newspaper confirmed that there is a division within the club’s management over the date of dismissal, whether it will be before or after the next Al-Hilal encounter, next Tuesday in the 24th round of the Saudi League. Al-Nasr tied 0-0 with Al-Fayhaa last Sunday in the 23rd round of the Saudi League championship. Al-Ittihad took advantage of to strengthen its lead in the standings by defeating Al-Wahda raising its score to 56 points, widening point’s difference with Al-Nasr, the runner-up to 3 pints.
