Chelsea plans to sign Barcelona’s Gavi this summer' for NOTHING!

Spanish press reports revealed that Chelsea has launched an operation to sign Barcelona's young star Gavi this summer - with talks reportedly already held between the Blues and the player's representatives. Barcelona had announced the renewal of Javi's contract until June 2026, with a penalty clause of one billion euros, to be a player in the first team, but the Spanish League refused to register the contract, and matters reached the court, which rejected Barcelona's appeal, and confirmed that Javi's new contract was not registered. The 18-year-old Spain international midfielder could be available for nothing if there is no solution to the contract registration row between his club and LaLiga. Barcelona haven't been able to register Gavi as a first-team player, despite his importance to the side, because of their ongoing financial struggles. "AS" newspaper indicated that Chelsea club officials held a negotiation session with Jaffe's agent, about 3 weeks ago, and the meeting was satisfactory for both parties and they agreed to continue negotiations, and there will be another meeting soon. "The newspaper added that Chelsea promised Jaffe an important position in the team, in addition to A large salary as well as a high bonus, as he seeks to take advantage of the player's anger at the Barcelona administration because of the way they managed his registration file. The newspaper confirmed that the possible arrival of Luis Enrique to Chelsea is another incentive for the player who trained under his leadership in the Spain national team, and if Barcelona cannot register him before the summer, he can leave for free.
