Real Madrid eyes Villarreal Winger Samuel Shakweze

Press reports revealed Real Madrid's interest in signing the Nigerian star and Villarreal winger Samuel Shakweze during the upcoming summer transfer market. Real Madrid president Florentino Perez was reportedly impressed by the performance of Villarreal winger Samuel Chukwueze at the Santiago Bernabeu. The Nigerian winger took centre stage after inspiring the Yellow Submarine to a 3-2 comeback victory with two goals, which included a belter of a winning strike. According to Radio Marca, Perez discussed with Villarreal president Fernando Roig the possibility of Chukwueze’s transfer to Madrid this summer. Real Madrid is seriously considering signing him next summer, especially since his contract with his club expires in the summer of 2024. Madrid is considering an offer worth around €50m for the Nigerian winger, and Perez has entertained the idea of deploying him alongside Vinicius Junior next season.
