Thomas Tuchel strongly interested in signing the German defender Lacroix

Chelsea have registered a strong interest in Wolfsburg star Maxence Lacroix and have opened talks with the defender’s representatives ahead of the summer transfer window, according to Sky Sports reports.
According to Sky Sports, the Blues Club management is a keen admirer to sign Wolfsburg defender Maxence Lacroix at the request of German coach Thomas Tuchel.
Reports indicated that Blues manager Thomas Tuchel would like to sign at least one new defender to strengthen the back line during the upcoming period.
The Wolves of London’s defender entered the list of options for the Blues, accompanied by his French compatriot Real Madrid’s Raphael Varane is being heavily linked and the club is scouring the Mercato next summer.
Tuchel and Chelsea officials are interested in the 21-year-old Wolfsburg centre-back Maxence Lacroix due to his remarkable brilliance with Wolfsburg in his first season in the Bundesliga.
Maxence Lacroix, whose value estimated at about 30 million Euros, is linked to a contract with German Wolfsburg and his current deal expires in 2024.
