Argentina back on top of FIFA rankings

The International Federation of Football Associations (FIFA) revealed the monthly rankings for the teams for the month of April, which saw World champions Argentina dethrone Brazil and returned to the top of the Fifa rankings on Thursday after a six-year gap. Argentina, who won last year's World Cup in Qatar by beating France in the final, achieved the No 1.

Italy ranked eighth in the FIFA rankings, followed by Portugal, then Spain ranked tenth in the world, and Morocco maintained its eleventh position in the world rankings.
