Karim Benzema set for France Roosters return at Euro 2020

Six years after being away from the France national team, Real Madrid forward Karim Benzema is proofing that he is the best French striker, and now is in line for a return to Didier Deschamps' squad for this summer's 2020 UEFA European Football Championship.
Benzema has not played for France since October 2015, after which he was arrested for his role in an alleged blackmailing of team-mate Mathieu Valbuena over a sex tape.
However, according to the French newspaper L’Equipe, the door is back open to Benzema. Deschamps has understandably been impressed with his return of 29 goals and eight assists in 45 appearances for Real this season, and now the idea of Benzema making it into his Euro 2020 squad is no longer off the table.
According to the French newspaper L'Equipe, Didier Deschamps, the coach of the French national team, may surprise everyone by calling Karim to the ranks of the “roosters” to compete in the European Nations Cup Euro 2020, which will be officially announced tonight.
Karim Benzema’s situation has become different in France during the recent period after years of exclusion and refusal to talk about him, but it seems that the time has come to pardon him.
In fact, Le Parisien go one step further and state that Benzema is expected to feature in Deschamps' squad for the tournament when it is revealed later on Tuesday.
The reports state that Deschamps is keen to rebuild the bridge with Benzema, towards whom he has never held any animosity. The boss has always vowed that his only goal is to pick the best squad for France, and there is no doubting Benzema's quality in that regard.
Deschamps monitored him during the last period and fully trusted with the distinguished level presented by Benzema with Real Madrid. For his part, Karim re-added the France national team account in his personal information through his personal account on the social networking site, namely Twitter being one of the national team players again, which confirms his recall.
