Is Osimhen could be the perfect candidate for Real Madrid?

Real Madrid now has to deal with the matter of replacing French star Karim Benzema with a new striker in the next two seasons. Real Madrid still depends on Karim Benzema for so many of their problems in the final third. The dependency on the Frenchman may not be as pronounced as it was last season, but there is still a tangible void on the field with him injured. According to reports from Sergio Santos, Ancelotti wants the club management to invest in a backup center forward at the earliest. He wishes for a player who can play regularly as a starter, especially given Benzema’s poor fitness record this season. The former French international was a wonderful servant for the past 14 years, but his fitness problems derailed this season, especially after his arrival at 35 years. Real Madrid has already set goals for this move, which is likely to happen next summer, headed by the duo Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland, two players that club president Florentino Perez is keen to bring to the Spanish capital. Another player who could replace Benzema is Napoli striker Victor Osimhen, and Calciomercato has reported that Real Madrid is monitoring the status of the Nigerian international. Osimhen has been in fantastic form with Napoli this season and could end up facing Los Blancos in the Champions League final this season if both teams get that far. The price Napoli is asking for Osimhen's release could be a sticking point for Real Madrid, with Napoli reportedly setting a minimum price of €170m.
