According to reports from Sergio Santos, Ancelotti wants the club management to invest in a backup center forward at the earliest. He wishes for a player who can play regularly as a starter, especially given Benzema’s poor fitness record this season. The former French international was a wonderful servant for the past 14 years, but his fitness problems derailed this season, especially after his arrival at 35 years. Real Madrid has already set goals for this move, which is likely to happen next summer, headed by the duo Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland, two players that club president Florentino Perez is keen to bring to the Spanish capital.
