The Italian Football League announced the list of players nominated for the Best Player Award this March. Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, the Georgian winger of the Italian club Napoli, has been named the Player of the Month for March of the Serie A national league, becoming the first player to take the award twice in the same season. The list of candidates for the March award in the Calcio was topped by the Georgian star Kvaratskhelia and Napoli winger, in addition to Adrian Rabio, the Juventus midfielder. The list of candidates also included the South Korean defender of the Napoli team, Min Jae Kim, Armand Llorent, the player of the Sassuolo team, and Winuma Destiny Odoji, the player of Udinese. Napoli leads the Italian League standings table this season with 71 points, 19 points ahead of its closest pursuers, runner-up Lazio, with 52 points.
