De Bruyne succeeds Hazard as the new captain of the Belgium Red Devils

 
The Belgian Football Association announced that Kevin De Bruyne is the new leader of the national team. He succeeds Eden Hazard, who ended his career as a Red Devil after the World Cup.

Belgium will be facing off against Sweden on Tuesday, March 27, 2023, as their friendly against Germany will be on next Friday. De Bruyne made his full international debut in 2010, and he has since earned over 97 caps and scored 25 goals for Belgium, and made 46 others in all competitions.
