"We wait for Messi with open arms" - Barcelona Sergi Roberto hopes to see PSG Messi back

Barcelona midfielder Sergi Roberto has expressed his desire to have Lionel Messi return to the Catalan Camp Nou giants for a second stint next season. Scoring his first goal in an El Clasico, Roberto took advantage of a ball pinging around the box, driving it past a helpless Thibaut Courtois. His former Barcelona teammate Roberto has expressed his wish to see the Argentine star return to the Catalan club. Speaking to Catalunya Ràdio , Roberto said:"With open arms, who is not going to be prepared for Messi's return? In the end, we don't want to talk a lot because he, the president, the coach or whoever has to decide, but if it's because of the players, we are waiting for him now." Lionel Messi's name was booed at Parc de Princes as he was announced among the Paris Saint-Germain starters to face Rennes. Messi was savagely whistled and booed by PSG fans during their home match against Rennes 2-0 on Sunday at the “Park des Princes” stadium, as Kylian Mbappé’s name was cheered and applauded. Messi put in a good performance for PSG, though, setting up two big chances for Mbappe - which the Frenchman missed. Messi’s contract at PSG expires at the end of the season, with Leo consistently linked with a return to Barcelona. Roberto commented on the case, and said: "I do not understand the reason for what they did. He has been doing well with Paris Saint-Germain since his transfer. He scores many goals and made assists to others."
