Man United planning to reward Erik ten Hag with new contract 

English press reports revealed that Manchester United is planning to reward Erik ten Hag with new contract regardless of outcome of multi-billion takeover. This reward to the Dutch manager Eric ten Hag comes after the distinguished results he achieved in his first season with the team in various competitions, after he assumed responsibility last summer. Ten Hag has earned plaudits from all corners as he continues to enjoy considerable success in his first season in charge of the club. In February he won United's first piece of silverware in six years, lifting the Carabao Cup, while they remain in contention to win the FA Cup and the Europa League, as well as having a firm grip on third place in the Premier League. According to the newspaper, "Mirror", Manchester United will make an offer to its Dutch coach, Tin Hag, for a period of 3 years, regardless of the new owner of the club. Erik ten Hag is in line to be given a new Manchester United contract - regardless of who owns the club. The Mirror indicated that Ten Hag has had such a profound impact in his first year at Old Trafford that plans are already being drawn up to offer an extension on the three-year deal he signed last summer.  Britain’s richest man Jim Ratcliffe and representatives working for Qatar ’s Sheikh Jassim Bin Hamad Al Than ratcheted up their interest in taking over by visiting Manchester for talks during the week. But the Glazers have made it clear that it is business as usual while the process is ongoing. The 52-year-old Dutchman Ten Hag took over United training last summer, succeeding German Ralph Rangnick, after he signed a 3-year contract from Dutch club Ajax. It is expected that the Glazer family, the current owner of Manchester United are open to selling Manchester United during the next few months, in light of the strong offers that have arrived to buy the club.
