Manchester City striker Erling Haaland confirmed that he enjoys battles in the English Premier League, after the hard-fought victory over Crystal Palace. Haaland is enjoying the relentless battle with the Gunners for the title and relishes close-fought matches such as the one City faced at Selhurst Park. "Every single game is a fight, we win and I'm really happy," he added. "I enjoy it, this is England, I enjoy every single second of it, and it’s good to be in the middle of it." The Norwegian star Haaland led Manchester City to a difficult 1-0 victory over Crystal Palace, at Selhurst Park in the 27th round of the English Premier League. Haaland said during his statements after the meeting: "In the end, everything that matters is the three points, we need to win games to keep picking up points. I am happy and I enjoy every moment. All matches in the Premier League need to be fought. We saw how Bournemouth defeated Liverpool. It is not easy. It is important that you come out with the three points, which is more important". He added, "I enjoy the battles in the Premier League in such a beautiful stadium. This is my job and I listen to every moment." He continued: "All our next matches are important, Leipzig is the next match and then Burnley, we have to win both matches, then we have to keep winning matches and focus on ourselves, nothing has been decided yet".
About the title race: "It's the English Premier League, this is what I've been watching all my life, I'm glad I became a part of that." Manchester City continued to chase Arsenal on top, as it ranks second in the English Premier League standings table with 61 points, just two points behind the Gunners. Crystal Palace is in 12th place with 27 points.
