Griezmann celebrates his goalscoring record  with Atletico Madrid

French star Antoine Griezmann restored Atletico's cushion early in the second half with a spectacular long-range strike, his 150th goal for the club, after scoring a goal during the crushing victory of the Rokhi Blancos over Seville, 6-1, in the 24th round of the Spanish League. Griezmann sprinted over to celebrate his goal with Simeone on the touchline and said he had hoped for a performance of this caliber.  “Opta” network stated that the French star Griezmann is the third player in the history of Atletico Madrid to score 150 goals or more in various competitions, after Luis Aragones with 172 goals and Adrian Escudero with 169 goals. The French star succeeded in reaching 150 goals with the Roji Blancos, during 327 matches in various competitions, with 26 goals in the Champions League, 6 goals in the European League, 105 goals in the Spanish League, and 13 in the King’s Cup. Atletico Madrid ranks third in the La Liga table with 45 points, while Barcelona leads with 59 points.
