Napoli's latest away success in the Italian League

Napoli set a new record in the Italian League, after its victory over Empoli 2-0 in the 24th round of the Italian League competition in the current season 2022-2023. According to "Opta" global statistics, Napoli has become the third team to win five consecutive away matches in the Italian League and keep a clean sheet in each of them.

Opta added that the South team repeated the achievement of the Inter Milan seasons (1950/51 and 1966/67) and Juventus seasons (1951/52, 1981/82, 2011/12, and 2017/18). Napoli moved a huge 18 points clear at the top of Serie A on Saturday with yet another routine victory, this time against mid-table Empoli.
