Elneny signs contract extension with Arsenal until 2024
The Egyptian midfielder has signed a contract extension until June 2024. In an official statement, arsenal praised Moahmed El-Ninney and wrote: ”Mo, 30, a hugely respected and experienced member of the squad, is currently our longest-serving player having joined us from Swiss side Basel back in January 2016.” The Egyptian midfielder joined the Gunners from Basel in 2016 and is now set for an eighth year at the Emirates Stadium after committing his future to the north London outfit until 2024. “I’m so happy, I love this club and our supporters so much and I’ll give everything to help us be the best we can be, every day I’m here.” the midfielder said. On being our longest-serving player, Mo added: “It makes me so proud to have represented this amazing club since 2016. The spirit and togetherness we have in our squad right now are so positive and I’m so happy I have extended my contract.”Mo’s new contract extension, which is until June 2024, is subject to the completion of regulatory processes.
