PSG reportedly prepared to reappoint Thomas Tuchel

Press reports revealed that the French club, Paris Saint-Germain, is seriously considering the return of its German coach, Thomas Tuchel to coach the team, and succeed the current coach, Christophe Galtier. Thomas Tuchel has been fired in December 2020 by PSG Board. In the same year, the German coach succeeded in leading the English FC Chelsea to achieve the European Champions League title for the second time in its history at the expense of Manchester City in the final match, in addition to the European Super Cup and the Club World Cup. Reports indicated that Paris Saint-Germain is reportedly prepared to admit that they made a mistake in sacking Thomas. PSG Board wants to appoint a technical director with a strong personality, who is able to control the dressing room, especially in light of the presence of a large number of stars, after the recent problems. The recent losses to Marseille in the French Cup, Monaco in Ligue 1, and to Bayern Munich in the first leg of their round of 16 Champions League tie have put Galtier under intense pressure. Thomas Tuchel has been "devastated" after being sacked by Chelsea and had hoped to find a new destination.
