French Clément Turpin to referee Man United vs Barcelona - UEFA

The European Football Association (UEFA) has appointed Clément Turpin, the French football referee, to referee Thursday's UEFA Champions League between Manchester United FC and FC Barcelona Old Trafford, in the second leg of the knockout round in the “Europa League” championship. The first-leg match, which was held, last Thursday at Camp Nou stadium ended with a positive tie score of 2-2. French Clément Turpin will manage United's encounter with Barca on Thursday evening, and will be assisted by Nicolas Danos and Benjamin Bagis, fourth referee Jeremy Benard and video referee Jerome Brisard. The draw for the round of 16 of the Europa League will take place on February 24, as the first-leg matches will be held on March 9, with the return matches to be played on the 16th of the same month.
