Romanian referee Istvan Kovacs to officiate Real Madrid and Liverpool clash

István Kovács is a Romanian football referee who officiates primarily in the Liga and has been appointed by EUFA to officiate the match between Real Madrid and Liverpool at the Anfield Stadium on Tuesday night's big game between the two giants. Istvan Kovacs was previously tasked to be the fourth official between Real Madrid and Manchester City host team, Which Real Madrid won with the Brazilian Vinicius Junior score in the French capital, Paris. The Romanian referee had managed a famous match for Real Madrid last season, against its host Manchester City, which ended in favor of the latter 4-3. The second leg will bring the two teams together on Wednesday, March 15th, at "Santiago Bernabeu", the stronghold of Real Madrid.
