According to Opta network, Benzema has now become Real Madrid’s second all-time leading scorer in La Liga, with the only man standing in his way now being the great Cristiano Ronaldo, who has scored 311 goals in La Liga for Real Madrid. Karim Benzema had recently surpassed Raul in the list of the club's best scorers in history in all competitions, as the Frenchman has now reached his with 339 goals to occupy the runner-up, while the retired Raul's balance stops at 323 goals, while Ronaldo leads with 45 goals. Real Madrid ranks second in the La Liga standings for the current season, with 45 points, 11 points behind leaders Barcelona.
