Nagelsmann: Bayern‘s qualification to Champions over PSG not sealed yet, Mbappe can change any match

ayern Munich coach Julian Nagelsmann confirmed the eligibility of the victory he achieved against Paris Saint-Germain, France, with a clean goal, in the first leg of the 16th round of the European Champions League, stressing that qualifying for the quarter-finals will not be easy. Nagelsmann admitted his team will have a harder task to keep Paris Saint-Germain quiet in their Champions League last 16 second leg - should Kylian Mbappe be fit to start. Reflecting on his team’s overall performance, Nagelsmann said: “We played really well in the first 25 minutes and had very good control. We could still have played straighter forward towards the goal. There was a feeling that we were very surprised we had the ball so much and Paris chose to sit back. About Kylian Mbappe's goal rejected by the referee and the VAR, he replied: "It was offside with a razor blade." He applauded PSG’s star, saying:“Mbappe can change any match by himself. PSG woke up when he was subbed on. They are better with Mbappe than without him”, the Bayern boss said. “In the second leg, we’ll have good ideas to counter him and can hurt them in attack. It’s clear that Mbappe can unlock any game.” When asked about Bayern Munich chances of qualifying for the quarter-finals, he said: "Of course, it is not that simple. We are in a better position than Paris Saint-Germain, but we cannot stop now and leave it. It is now in our hands and Paris Saint-Germain must do more."
