Mbappe: PSG is confident to qualify from Munich stronghold in the return leg

The French star and Paris Saint-Germain striker, Kylian Mbappe, said he was confident Paris St Germain could advance into the quarter-finals of the Champions League despite losing 1-0 to Bayern Munich in the first leg of their last-16 clash on Tuesday. Mbappe came on as a substitute in the 57th minute and was able to score two goals but rejected by the referee and the VAR. "We have to remember the final part of the game; we're behind but we saw that we were able to cause them trouble. We need all our players to be healthy and go there to win and qualify," said Mbappe, after the end of the clash. Mbappe said after the end of the match:"The way we played in the second half, we saw that we could beat them, we will go home now and we will try to beat them in the second leg." He added, "I worked day and night to get some time to appear in the match, it was not what I wanted, but it is good." About his rejected goal, he replied, "It's the modern football. If offside is indicated, it means that there was offside. We have to be more positive and move forward now."
PSG tackles Bayern Munich on march 8,2023  in a crucial Champions League second leg game at the Allianz Arena, the stronghold of the Bavarian club.
