Klopp: I won’t quit job at Liverpool

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has set the clock ticking on significant change coming to his squad after insisting he is going nowhere. Jurgen Klopp says he feels "too much responsibility" to consider walking away as the Liverpool manager strongly dismissed suggestions of a shock Anfield exit. Klopp confirmed that he is not considering leaving Anfield at the end of the season due to the Reds' deteriorating performance and poor results in the English Premier League. He affirmed that he won’t quit rebuilding job at Liverpool and I will not go’.
Speaking ahead of Monday night's Merseyside derby with Everton at Anfield, the Reds boss insists he is not entertaining the thought as he reaffirmed his unwavering commitment towards turning around what has been a woeful campaign to date.
"I would say I have had difficult spells but always at the end of my time [at my other clubs]," Klopp said. "At Mainz we had difficult times during the whole time and Borussia Dortmund was probably at the beginning and the end. So I understand that people would think that way, but I will not go and I cannot go.
"Maybe the difficult times are a bit too long already, maybe for me as well. I knew it would be a difficult season but if we have five or six points more it would still not be a great season but we could talk about [qualifying for] the Champions League but now we are that far away not even you (the media) ask me about it anymore thankfully.
He added, “In Mainz and Borussia Dortmund, there were tough and complicated moments. I understand that the fans here will think that way and that I have to leave, but I will not leave, I cannot do that.”
He continued: "There is a great responsibility on my shoulders, I will never abandon it. I know that we are going through a difficult period, but we have to fight and make more effort. I know Liverpool's great status."
