Flamengo striker Guilherme crowned the top scorer of the FIFA Club World Cup 2022

Brazil and Flamengo striker Pedro Guilherme was crowned the top scorer of the 2022 FIFA Club World Cup in Morocco. Pedro won the award after scoring 4 goals, with two goals in the semi-final match against Al-Hilal Saudi Arabia, and the same in front of Al-Ahly, in the match to determine the third-place finisher. The Argentine Luciano Vito, Al-Hilal player, and Real Madrid the Uruguayan Federico Valverde and the Brazilian Vinicius Junior, each scored (3 goals). According to "Opta" statistics network, Pedro became the first player in history to be crowned top scorer in the Libertadores Cup and the Club World Cup in the same season. Real Madrid won the Club World Cup for the fifth time in its history, after defeating Al-Hilal (5-3) in the final match, while Flamengo won third place, after its victory over Al-Ahly of Egypt (4-2).
