Spanish press published this morning, Thursday, wildly heaped praise on Real Madrid reaching the FIFA Club World Cup, with Carlo Ancelotti's side hailed for a fightback against Al-Ahli. The Spanish newspaper Marca titled: "A wonderful work of art, until the final. Ceballos passes the heel to Rodrygo, who concludes with a wonderful victory, but with suffering." The newspaper added, “Vinicius and Valverde score again and smile again. Arebas concludes the victory only 28 seconds after entering as a substitute.
Great respect for Al-Ahly, who played a respectable match.” While the “AS” newspaper titled: “Mission completed successfully”, Real Madrid ends Al-Ahly’s dreams. The white team will play the Club World Cup final with Al-Hilal on Saturday.”
The newspaper added, "Real Madrid, led by Vinicius, Valverde, Rodrigo, and the youth star Arebas who scores against the Egyptians, and Modric misses a penalty kick."
