Basra to Host 25th Arabian Gulf Cup

The heads of the football associations of the GCC countries, Iraq and Yemen unanimously agreed on Monday to hold the assignment of organizing the next edition of 25th Arabian Gulf Football Cup (Gulf 25) in the Iraqi city of Basra.

 

On Monday, the Executive Office of the Gulf Federation officially approved the establishment of the Gulf Cup 25 in Iraq, following the extraordinary videoconference that was held earlier yesterday to discuss the report of the committee studying the files of hosting the "Gulf 25".

 

The President of the Federation and members of the Executive Office also reviewed the report of the Committee to Study Gulf Hosting Files “25” presented by Dr Jassim bin Muhammad Al Shukaily, Vice President of the Federation And head of the committee to study the files on hosting the Gulf Cup whom recently held a meeting to discuss the report of the inspection team that visited Basra and study out notes related to the requirements for hosting the tournament.
