From under beneath rubble of the Turkey earthquake, Atsu's scream saved his life!
Press reports revealed the scenes of the rescue of Ghana international Christian Atsu, who plays for Turkish club Hatayspo, from under the rubble. According to the English newspaper "The Sun", Christian Atsu was found alive under the rubble, after hearing the sound of his screams and pleading for help, noting that he was living on the ninth floor, and his apartment collapsed due to the earthquake that struck Turkey. The newspaper indicated that Atsu's voice was heard under the rubble along with the voice of the sports director of Hatay Sport, Taner Savut, but the latter has not been found until this moment. The Turkish club Hatayspor announced that Atsu had been rescued from under the rubble during the past hours, and the player was taken to the hospital because he was suffering from difficulty breathing. Atsu joined Hatayspor at the beginning of the current season from Saudi Arabia’s Al-Raed, and he previously represented Porto, Chelsea, Everton, Bournemouth, and Newcastle United. Atsu has 60 international matches with the Ghana national team, during which he scored 10 goals. He appeared in the FIFA World Cup 2014 with the Black Stars and finished runner-up with them in the 2015 African Cup of Nations.
